Behind-the-Scenes with a Crystal Taxidermy Artist

Looking to show the hours of love and labor that goes into each piece, Glimmer and Grim opted for a documentary-style brand photo shoot inside their in-home studio.


I was tasked with creating authentic, engaging images that show the fine detail of each Swarovsky crystal placement. By sharing the micro detail of each bejeweled animal skull, the full effect when viewing a finished piece is even more impressive— especially when each piece ranges from a few hundred crystals to over 15,000 crystals!

These images are being utilized to engage prospective customers online and share the stories behind each piece.
